What is Crimson Trigger?
Crimson Trigger is a 3D side-scrolling platformer set in a fantasy world ruled by Marshal Yurei and the White Crow Empire.
Players move through stages featuring varied landscapes, enemy groups, generals, bosses, and hidden items. Defeated bosses provide new weapons and three skills, each linked to a different type of elemental damage. An ability system includes options such as Air Dash, Double Jump, and reduced damage taken. Four abilities can be selected at once to shape movement and survivability. The story follows a rebel seeking revenge for a lost loved one and opposing the empire. Stages introduce increasingly challenging enemies while secret items may assist progress or reveal further secrets.
