Our take on Couch Combat
Rather than building around a campaign or a single escalating challenge, the game resets its accumulated modifiers after each Ridiculous Round. Its structure turns changing rules, unusual weapons, and genre-themed arenas into the main source of variation.
What is Couch Combat?
Couch Combat is a local multiplayer action game for up to four players, built around short rounds in which players find weapons and fight to be the last one standing.
More than 30 stages draw on classic movie genres and include distinct mechanics, from katana combat to high-speed wall-running and potions with elemental effects. In Classic Mode, players vote on modifiers that accumulate across several rounds before a larger modifier defines the Ridiculous Round, then the modifiers reset. Arcade Mode allows selection of stages, weapons, and modifiers. The game supports Steam Remote Play Together for online sessions and includes firearms alongside unusual weapons such as the BOOMER.
