Our take on Cosmos Crash VR
The store presentation emphasizes the three-dimensional VR setting and special marble effects, while the core activity remains a focused match-three loop across 10 early access orbit layouts. The scope is closer to a compact puzzle game than a broad space-shooting adventure.
What is Cosmos Crash VR?
Cosmos Crash is a VR game combining first-person shooting with marble-matching puzzles.
The player takes the role of a space pilot whose ship is surrounded by orbital paths. Colored marbles move along each path, and the objective is to fire matching marbles to create groups of three or more before the advancing pieces reach the ship. The early access version includes 10 orbit layouts with different shapes and play requirements, including paths that accelerate or require attention on both sides. Matching three or more marbles can produce one of six special marble types, with effects determined by the color of the completed match. Clearing sections of an orbit also lights nearby lanterns.
How Cosmos Crash VR plays
- 01Spatial orbit layouts
- The 10 early access stages use varied three-dimensional paths, including crown, pipe, balance, and gear forms.
- 02Match-based shooting
- Players fire colored marbles to form groups of at least three before the moving pieces reach the ship.
- 03Special marble effects
- Combos can create six kinds of special marbles, with the effect linked to the color used in the last match.
- 04Orbit-specific challenges
- Some layouts speed up passing marbles, while others require simultaneous awareness of two sides.
- 05Lantern lighting
- Clearing selected sections of an orbit activates lanterns placed around that area.
