Our take on Cosmonator
Its defining format is the RPG-em-up: top-down shoot-'em-up action is paired with separately customizable weapons, upgrades, abilities, and spells.
What is Cosmonator?
Cosmonator combines fast top-down shooting with character development.
Players customize a ship with weapons, upgrades, abilities, and spells, shaping builds around firepower, defense, or special attacks. The campaign has 40 hand-crafted levels and more than 15 boss battles, with another 20 optional challenge levels. More than 30 passive upgrades and 40 spells offer different build choices; spells can be strengthened, and some can have their effects altered. Five difficulty settings range from Rookie to Impossible. An endless roguelike gauntlet continually raises the difficulty and tracks player performance on leaderboards. The game also supports controllers.
