Is COROPATA worth it for you?
We tell you who should skip it, too.
Play it if you…
Good fit- Puzzle players who prefer arranging environments over directly controlling a character
- Casual players who enjoy short, staged challenges with changing character behavior
- Players seeking an English version of a game originally released on Nintendo DS
Skip it if you…
Saves you a refund- Players who want direct movement control may bounce off the setup phase, where progress depends on placing objects before Himawari walks on.
- Players seeking fixed, fully predictable puzzle behavior may hit a wall when energy and mood change how Himawari handles objects.
- Players looking for combat, exploration, or a broad role-playing system will find the scope centered on environmental puzzles.
Our take on COROPATA
The bounce point comes when Himawari starts moving and the puzzle must already be arranged. Players expecting to steer her directly may struggle with the indirect setup, while those relying on fixed reactions may be caught by changes in energy and mood.
What is COROPATA?
Guide Himawari as she walks toward delivery destinations while placing objects to complete environmental puzzles.
Each stage presents an unfinished arrangement, and the available items must be positioned so she can reach the goal safely. Her behavior can vary: energy and mood affect how she interacts with objects, including whether she throws or kicks a ball. Food can restore energy, while hazards and neighborhood cats can alter her mood. The game follows Himawari’s quest to deliver radishes around the neighborhood. This Steam release is an English version of a game first released for Nintendo DS in 2009.
