SimulationIs Cooking Simulator VR worth it for you?
We tell you who should skip it, too.
Play it if you…

- Cooking game fans who want structured progression through recipes and customers
- Sandbox players who enjoy experimenting with physics, fires, and kitchen chaos
Skip it if you…
Saves you a refund- Players seeking a tightly scripted cooking campaign may lose interest in the open-ended sandbox and physics experiments.
- Users who dislike manual VR hand interactions may hit a wall when cutting, stirring, flipping, and pouring require controller movements.
- Players looking for combat, exploration, or a broader non-cooking game loop will find the scope centered on one virtual kitchen.
Our take on Cooking Simulator VR
The bounce point arrives at the cooking controls: progress depends on repeated VR actions such as cutting, stirring, flipping, and pouring. Players who do not enjoy manipulating kitchen tools by hand may stop before the career progression or sandbox experimentation has much room to develop.
What is Cooking Simulator VR?
Cooking Simulator VR places cooking in a virtual kitchen with interactive appliances, utensils, and more than 140 ingredients.
Players can prepare dishes using knives, pans, ovens, blenders, burners, and other tools while ingredients change in temperature, texture, and appearance during cooking. Haptic feedback accompanies actions such as cutting, stirring, and pouring. Career Mode starts with a small kitchen and introduces recipes, customers, and restaurant progression as players advance. Sandbox Mode provides access to more than 100 recipes and the ingredient collection from the beginning, with room for experiments involving slow motion, fires, spills, explosions, and other physics-based mishaps. The game includes VR hand controls, dynamic lighting, and physics systems.
