Our take on Color Guardians
The focus on rapid color changes, obstacle avoidance, and level completion leaves less room for exploration, character development, or varied combat systems. The trade-off is a narrower experience centered on timing, reflexes, and repeated practice across increasingly demanding stages.
What is Color Guardians?
Color Guardians is a fast side-scrolling action game set in Terra Color, a world darkened by the color thief Krogma.
Players guide Rod, Lia, and Grock through more than 70 levels, switching colors, collecting items, and avoiding obstacles. Five worlds introduce new challenges and mechanics, while the levels become increasingly demanding. Hidden unlockables include music, concept art, renders, and 3D models. The game also includes 60 challenges, achievements, and leaderboards for comparing scores with friends. Its color-matching gameplay uses simple core mechanics that require increasingly precise reactions. Color Guardians supports English, Spanish, French, Italian, German, Portuguese, and Russian.
