Our take on Clones
The focus on morphing puzzles and real-time multiplayer trades broad genre variety for a specialized ruleset. Players looking for character progression, exploration, or narrative development will find less emphasis on those elements than on solving and replaying structured challenges.
What is Clones?
Clones is a puzzle game where players instruct groups of clones to morph into different shapes and overcome obstacles.
Its single-player campaign contains over 150 puzzles across 5 environmental themes, with 11 CloneMasters and one-on-one boss matches. Multiplayer supports up to 16 players in 8 groups, with team play, several modes, powerups, leaderboards, spectators, chat, and LAN or internet matches. More than 50 multiplayer levels support cooperative play, while the built-in editor allows custom puzzles to be created, published, browsed, and downloaded. Players can customize clone avatars, set per-puzzle checkpoints, review recorded matches, and use stamps and decorations. The game also includes hidden levels, ranking systems, and contraptions that alter clone abilities.
