ActionIs Chronoclysm worth it for you?
We tell you who should skip it, too.
Play it if you…
Good fit- Local multiplayer groups who want chaotic arena matches
- Online players who enjoy class-based battles with time interactions
- Solo creators who want to build paradox-focused levels
Skip it if you…
Saves you a refund- Players seeking a conventional arena format without round-to-round time effects may hit a wall when earlier actions begin shaping later rounds.
- Users wanting a fixed campaign structure may find the emphasis on competitive modes, puzzles, teams, and custom levels too open-ended.
- Players without interest in experimenting with class abilities or level creation may have little use for the customization and editor systems.
Our take on Chronoclysm
The bounce point arrives when earlier rounds stop being history and become part of the next fight. Players who prefer clean resets may struggle once missed attacks, past victories, and compressed timelines combine into the arena's central system.
What is Chronoclysm?
Chronoclysm is a battle arena where up to four players compete across rounds while time repeatedly compresses.
Players build an army of time warriors and choose among four classes with distinct abilities that interact across the match. Actions from earlier rounds can affect later ones, including missed projectiles returning as opportunities and previous winners becoming targets. The game supports mixed local and online multiplayer, solo paradox puzzles, cooperative play, and team battles. Gameplay can be adjusted through customization options, more than 30 equipment pieces, class and team skins, and a Steam Workshop-connected level editor. The editor lets players create levels centered on the time-compression mechanic.
