Our take on Chip
Costumes, characters, leaderboards, and achievements receive prominent attention, but the main activity is a fixed set of 75 energy-routing puzzles. The customization layer adds collection goals around the central puzzle sequence rather than changing how those puzzles are solved.
What is Chip?
Chip is an isometric puzzle game about recharging a small red robot imprisoned by Rust.
Each puzzle requires directing an energy blob through a set of interactive objects, including cannons, mirrors, and magnets. Players tap, move, and rotate these objects to create a path to Chip. The game contains 75 levels arranged across three level packs. Hidden presents provide costumes and accessories for three customizable characters. Additional progression comes from more than 20 achievements, while Steam leaderboards and trading cards support platform-based extras. The presentation includes animated visuals, original music, and sound effects composed by Vince Webb. The central structure is a sequence of object-manipulation puzzles with optional costume collection and achievement goals.
