Our take on Chicken Defender
The store presentation emphasizes multiple winning strategies, but the stated scope is compact: three difficulty levels and one tutorial. The core loop centers on placing five item types and managing three one-use power-ups between incoming waves.
What is Chicken Defender?
Chicken Defender is a low-poly 2.
5D tower defense game with three difficulty levels and a tutorial. Foxes attack the chicken coop in waves from different directions rather than following one route. Between waves, a building phase allows placement of five items: a direct-damage corn turret, slowing water hose, area-damage missile launcher, catapult, and fence. Three power-ups can also be purchased and used once per level: Fox Slower, Coop Shield, and Turret Overclock. After each wave, money based on performance can be spent on additional equipment. The objective is to save as many chickens as possible by changing the setup before each attack.
How Chicken Defender plays
- 01Multi-directional attacks
- Foxes arrive in waves from different sides of the map instead of using one fixed route.

- 03Single-use power-ups
- Fox Slower, Coop Shield, and Turret Overclock can each be bought and activated once in a level.
- 04Performance-based spending
- Money awarded after each wave funds further purchases during the level.
