Our take on Chess Valley
Chess Valley replaces the usual contest between two armies with a one-piece crossing challenge. The king is no longer a protected centerpiece in a battle; it becomes the sole moving character, navigating black pieces and blocks as hazards across the board.
What is Chess Valley?
Chess Valley turns the chessboard into a traversal challenge.
The board keeps its original layout but contains only black chess pieces and blocks that may help or hinder movement. A lone white king begins in front of the board, while the remaining white pieces wait beyond it. The objective is to guide the king across the full board without being captured. Movement uses the keyboard arrow keys or WASD, and the camera can be changed with C. Completing a challenge automatically loads the next stage. The game currently contains 50 stages, following its initial release with 25 of 50 stages available. Additional stages may be added depending on the game's acceptance.
