Our take on Champion's Chalice
The auto-battler structure reduces direct moment-to-moment combat control in exchange for focusing play on shop decisions, party composition, and timing limited-use champion abilities. Randomized environments and shop results also make planning depend on the options offered during each run.
What is Champion's Chalice?
Champion’s Chalice is a single-player roguelike auto battler built around repeated runs.
Each run begins with a choice between two randomly selected champions, each with a limited-use activated ability. Players recruit units, buy items, roll the shop, and combine abilities and effects into party builds. Between shop phases, the party fights enemy groups automatically, with progress requiring victories. Runs cover five stages, each offering a random choice between two environments that determine available units and items. Minigames offer risk-and-reward decisions during progression. Completing runs provides rewards used to unlock additional shop items and units. The game includes more than 100 units, over 130 consumable items and artifacts, 10 environments, 10 challenge modes, five champions, achievements, and statistics.
