Our take on Carmageddon: Rogue Shift
The bounce point arrives when a wrecked vehicle ends its current run rather than simply resetting a race. Players who prefer uninterrupted campaign progress may also struggle with the escalating difficulty, branching route choices, and need to rebuild through shops and permanent bonuses.
What is Carmageddon: Rogue Shift?
Carmageddon: Rogue Shift is a vehicular-combat roguelite set in a post-apocalyptic city.
Campaign runs follow randomly generated routes with branching events, shops, elite encounters, and bosses. Drivers crash, shove, boost, and side-bash rivals while using weapons across 13 classes, from shotguns to railguns. Victories and driving maneuvers provide Credits for repairs, weapons, and perks. The game includes 15 upgradeable vehicles, more than 80 perks, dynamic weather, and a day-night cycle. Wasted hordes and special mutations join rival gangs and Enforcers on the tracks. When a vehicle is destroyed, another driver continues the run. Beatcoins provide permanent bonuses and additional content between runs through the Black Market.
