Our take on CANINE
The bounce point arrives when the humanoid dog appears and direct fighting is unavailable. Players must rely on stealth or throw Tomy’s ball to create a distraction, while the score and timer add pressure for anyone pursuing the 4-star requirement for Hardcore mode.
What is CANINE?
CANINE is a PSX-style survival horror game about a boy searching for his kidnapped dog, Tomy.
An evil corporation has taken pets for experiments. The game provides no weapons; survival depends on carrying Tomy’s ball, avoiding a humanoid dog through stealth, and throwing the ball to create distractions. Player actions lead to one of two endings. A score system tracks stars and time, with Hardcore mode becoming available after achieving a 4-star score. The game presents its story in the style of a class B horror film and draws inspiration from Resident Evil, Silent Hill, and Alien Isolation. Interface languages include English, Spanish, Simplified Chinese, Japanese, Russian, Portuguese, and German.
