Skip it if you…
Saves you a refund- Players seeking a primarily exploration- or conversation-led adventure may bounce off the focus on shooting and arena combat.
- Players wanting a deep role-playing system may hit a wall with progression centered on levels, characters, points, and weapons.
- Players looking for crafting, stealth, or tower-defense systems will find those outside the described gameplay scope.
Our take on Burgers
The bounce point arrives at the arena system: players seeking exploration, conversation, crafting, or stealth may find the focus on shooting, weapon purchases, leveling, and adjustable spawns too narrow.
What is Burgers?
Burgers centers on several German soldiers dispatched to a rural town after reports of strange events.
What begins as a supposedly quick, simple assignment escalates into a danger threatening the entire world, forcing them to turn against their homeland in order to protect it. Inspired by cooperative action games including Contra, Metal Slug, and Castle Crashers, it features character leveling, point collection, new playable characters, and weapon purchases. Players can enter arenas for skill-based combat and alter enemy spawn settings to create custom battles. The game supports solo play and cooperative sessions with friends, combining narrative missions, progression systems, equipment purchases, and combat arenas.
How Burgers plays
- 01Character progression
- Players can raise levels, earn points, and gain access to additional characters.
- 02Weapon purchases

- 04Solo and co-op play
- The action can be played alone or alongside friends.
Burgers compared to similar games
Burgers focuses on a soldier-led story, weapon purchases, character progression, and arena fights playable alone or with friends. Vagante presents an adventure in a dark fantasy world with monsters, demons, and crooks, while Dungeon Defenders: Awakened combines cooperative action RPG play with tower defense, loot, pets, and character customization. Their descriptions emphasize fantasy adventure or tower-defense systems rather than Burgers' customizable arena combat.
