Our take on Bulletstorm VR
The bounce point arrives when ordinary shooting is no longer enough: players must combine kicks, slides, charged shots, explosives, the Energy Leash, and environmental attacks to build Skillshots. Those seeking a straightforward shooter may hit that system before reaching the later weapon and ammunition unlocks.
What is Bulletstorm VR?
Play as Grayson Hunt, an exiled space mercenary fighting across the hostile world of Stygia in virtual reality.
The game combines gunplay with kicks, slides, charged shots, explosives, environmental attacks, and the Energy Leash to create Skillshot combos. Rewards from these combos unlock weapons, charged shots, and greater ammunition capacity. The arsenal supports dual-wielding, while enemies range from raiders to giant creatures across badlands, urban ruins, and terror domes. A Horde Mode adds enemy waves across three arenas with leaderboards. The VR edition also includes Trishka Novak as a playable mercenary, two new levels, and Energy Blade weapons.
