Our take on Build 'n Bump
Instead of presenting a fixed platforming course, the game makes arena construction part of the match. Its live-editing mode goes further by allowing one participant to reshape the battlefield while the others are already competing.
What is Build 'n Bump?
Build 'n Bump is a local multiplayer platformer in which players create the arena before fighting.
Matches support 2 to 6 players, with four controllers and two keyboard positions. Five block types—standard, spring, platform, spike, and dissolving—shape each battlefield. Players score by landing on opponents, avoid hazards, and can knock rivals away. Level Master Mode assigns one player to edit the map while the others continue battling.
Practice mode provides stationary targets. Online play works through a direct IP connection between two computers or through Steam Remote Play Together; direct IP requires familiarity with port forwarding and has no dedicated servers or public lobbies. The game also includes unlimited saved level slots and supports custom hats by adding images to the hats folder.
