- Players who want one fixed conclusion may bounce off the three-ending structure
Our take on BUDDY
Players may bounce when the story’s boundary between Mary’s real life and fantasy becomes the central mystery. Those wanting direct explanations or a single fixed conclusion may find the unpredictable plot and three-ending structure difficult to follow.
What is BUDDY?
BUDDY is a horror adventure about Mary, a little girl whose fears and memories shape a nightmare world.
Players control a cat trying to guide her out while discovering fragments of her real life connected to childhood fears. The game combines a distinctive visual style, atmospheric music, mystery, and an unpredictable plot. Its story asks players to separate reality from Mary’s imagination and offers three endings.
