We tell you who should skip it, too.
Play it if you…
Good fit- World War II shooter fans who want squad commands alongside direct gunplay
- Players who prefer tactical flanking and ambushes over only frontal attacks
- Multiplayer groups seeking large team battles with squad mechanics
Skip it if you…
Saves you a refund- Players seeking a purely run-and-gun shooter may find squad orders and battlefield positioning demanding
- Those wanting short, self-contained action sessions may not favor its story-led military structure and large multiplayer battles
- Players looking for climbing, puzzle-solving, or meditative exploration will not find those activities central here
Our take on Brothers in Arms: Hell's Highway™
The focus on squad leadership and battlefield positioning gives up the simplicity of a solo run-and-gun shooter. Players must divide attention between personal combat, unit orders, cover selection, and reconnaissance rather than concentrating only on their own weapon.
What is Brothers in Arms: Hell's Highway™?
Brothers in Arms: Hell's Highway is a squad-based World War II shooter set during Operation Market Garden.
Players lead Matt Baker, Joe Hartsock, and members of the 101st Airborne Division through patrols, enemy spotting, ambushes, and combat missions. Orders from headquarters structure the action, while squad members can exchange ammunition, aid wounded allies and civilians, and operate team weapons. Commandable units include machine-gun, bazooka, and mortar teams, supporting flanking attacks or direct assaults. Cover can be damaged, scorched, dented, or destroyed by weapons. The game also includes a multiplayer mode with large battles, combining deathmatch combat with squad-focused play.
