Our take on BROKEN LIFE
Rather than treating the adventure as a light puzzle journey, BROKEN LIFE places a former soldier’s grief, isolation, and family search at the center. Its choices lead to differing outcomes, replacing a single fixed route with personal responses to a war-damaged setting.
What is BROKEN LIFE?
BROKEN LIFE is a fully voiced 2D point-and-click adventure set in a war-damaged world.
Leo, a former soldier, returns to his recently liberated hometown to learn what happened to his family and rebuild his home. Exploration follows gloomy environments shaped by destruction, isolation, grief, and the aftermath of occupation. Players solve logic and creativity-focused puzzles that are connected to the narrative, while decisions lead to different outcomes rather than fixed right or wrong answers. Dialogue and cutscenes include voiceover in each supported language, with an option to turn it off for a text-focused experience. The house at the center of Leo’s return conceals mysterious secrets.
