Our take on Brew
Instead of treating crafting as preparation between encounters, Brew places alchemy inside the fight itself. Potions can boost the character, alter enemies or surroundings, or modify a weapon, making resource decisions part of moment-to-moment action. Academy relationships add a social layer to the tower-climbing structure.
What is Brew?
Brew is a third-person roguelite set in The Tower, where an alchemy student faces combat challenges and exams.
Ingredients gathered during battles can become potions with several uses: drinking them provides temporary boosts, throwing them affects enemies and the environment, or loading them into a weapon upgrades a potion gun. Combat combines multiple weapons with potion abilities, resource management, and combinations of effects. Progression includes potion recipes, upgrades, character skills, badges, and secret rooms. Outside combat, the Alchemy Academy provides conversations with classmates and professors, gift-giving, and time spent building friendships. The structure combines tower climbing, battle-based crafting, and student-life interactions.
