Play it if you…

Skip it if you…
Saves you a refund- Players seeking a tightly focused protagonist rather than managing a group with varied unit roles
- Players who prefer real-time combat or highly slow, deliberative turn-based encounters
- Players looking for a deck-building roguelike structure rather than party progression and unit transformations
- Players seeking a serious fantasy narrative instead of a humorous beard-centered quest
Our take on Bravada
Rather than centering a conventional bearded dwarf hero, the game makes the missing beard the premise of its adventure. Its turn-based battles also depart from slower tactical pacing by using a control system intended to feel closer to action.
What is Bravada?
Bravada follows a young dwarf whose missing beard sends him on a journey with his bat companion.
Players control a group of units, each with distinct specialties and traits, during turn-based combat built around a fast control system. Units gain levels and can change into other forms according to player choices. The party can include hundreds of unit types, including former enemies. RPG elements include an inventory and unit classes. Every fifth level-up presents a specialization choice. The game combines a humorous plot with individual descriptions for its game elements, while its central journey focuses on solving the mystery of the dwarf’s absent beard.

Bravada compared to similar games
Bravada combines a humorous fantasy quest with party management, unit transformations, inventory, and class-based RPG elements. Shogun Showdown focuses on positioning, attack tiles, skills, deck construction, and roguelike progression, while Back to the Dawn centers on prison survival, investigation, crime, and escape. These alternatives share RPG or turn-based elements but use different progression and narrative structures.
