Our take on Boyhood's End
The premise and character drama receive far more detail than the playable structure. Beyond puzzles and exploration, the store page gives little concrete information about how challenges develop across the journey.
What is Boyhood's End?
Boyhood's End is a science-fiction horror adventure set under the rule of R.
Karellen, a mechanical overlord who assigns every person a human score. Giovanni, who has the lowest score, faces bullying and institutional mistreatment until a school crisis brings him together with Campanella, an eccentric high-scoring student. They take over a driverless train and travel along a galactic railroad toward the Crimson Southern Cross. The journey combines puzzle solving, exploration, animated conversations, encounters with historical leaders, destructive pranks, twisted mysteries, and horror. Giovanni also writes code and takes dark-web jobs to pay his mother's hospital fees. The story addresses childhood, humanity, and the boundary between human and inhuman, with depictions of bullying and violence.
