Our take on Border Force
The bounce point arrives when the border rules shift during inspections. Players who prefer a fixed checklist may struggle once familiar procedures stop applying, while those expecting combat may disengage during repeated checks of vehicles, nationalities and cargo.
What is Border Force?
Border Force places players at Checkpoint C on a newly formed UK border shortly before Brexit is formalised.
As a border guard, players inspect vehicles, check travelers’ nationalities, examine cargo and identify harmful contraband, including landmines and champagne. The rules can change during play, requiring responses to updated requirements. A 10-day solo campaign follows the fictional first days of an independent Britain. Multiplayer includes cooperative and competitive modes for groups of up to 8 players, with participants able to work together or choose opposing sides. The game also includes a mixture of free and paid expansions.
