Our take on Boo! Are you scared? The Chests Game
The defining structure is a race to assemble five chests, with each chest requiring all four cards of one rank. A failed request forces a draw and ends the turn, while a successful request allows the same player to continue asking.
What is Boo! Are you scared? The Chests Game?
This card game deals 6 cards to each player.
On a turn, a player asks an opponent whether they hold cards of a chosen rank, such as aces, tens, or queens. If the opponent has cards of that rank, those cards are handed over and the asking player continues. If not, the asking player draws 1 card and the turn passes to the opponent. Collecting all 4 cards of one rank creates a chest, which is placed aside rather than kept in the hand. Play continues until one player has collected 5 chests. A friendly character accompanies the game’s souvenir-focused presentation.
