Our take on Boneless Zombie
Rather than treating the character as a fixed, upright platforming avatar, the game makes limb extension and retraction the main movement system. Wall climbing, ceiling attachment, and self-destruction replace more standard jumping and combat-centered progression.
What is Boneless Zombie?
Boneless Zombie is a 2D physics platformer about a young man transformed into a bone-free zombie in a laboratory.
His rubber-like body can extend and pull back, allowing him to climb walls, cling to ceilings, and move toward an escape route. After researchers activate traps and evacuate the facility, he searches for a way out while hoping his girlfriend escaped safely. Gameplay uses simple controls, environmental mechanisms, and zombie-destroying traps. A self-destruct function is available, and bones scattered across the stages can be collected. The central movement system focuses on unusual physical motion as the character stretches his arms and legs through the laboratory.
