Our take on Blow & Fly
The defining mechanic is water recoil: the fish spends liquid to launch through the air, then regains a small amount whenever it reaches the floor.
What is Blow & Fly?
After its aquarium is destroyed, a blowfish must find water while crossing hazardous environments.
It rolls along the floor and expels water to propel itself through the air in the opposite direction. Touching the floor restores a small amount of liquid for another launch. More than 70 puzzles increase in difficulty across three environments, using pits, spikes, jump pads, gravity changes, keys, and water drops. Hidden places can reveal extra areas and stages with altered mechanics. Optional challenges provide additional fish appearances, while completing levels within a set number of launches awards pearls. The game combines movement and aiming, with progress depending on how the fish uses its limited liquid and the objects placed in each level.
How Blow & Fly plays
- 01Water-powered movement
- Expelling liquid sends the fish backward through the air, while touching the floor restores a small reserve.
- 02Hazards and devices
- Levels combine pits and spikes with jump pads, gravity changes, keys, and water drops.
- 03Hidden level routes
- Secret locations can expose additional areas and stages with changed mechanics.
- 04Pearl challenges
- A level awards a pearl when completed within its specified launch count.
