Our take on Bloodhound
Players looking for a branching campaign may bounce off when they reach the linear story structure; the game is built around a single-player sequence of 5 acts rather than an open-ended route.
What is Bloodhound?
Bloodhound is a solo arcade first-person horror shooter with a linear campaign divided into five acts.
The protagonist belongs to a gate-guarding order and battles Astaroth’s cult to prevent an attempt to release evil. Ten weapons, including a machete, shotgun, and double-barrel shotgun, support the fighting. Across the campaign, players face 16 enemy varieties and five bosses from Hell. Levels take inspiration from horror cinema and actual places, moving between warped reality and a demonic realm. Instrumental metal from Sons of Amon provides the soundtrack. The game focuses on rapid gunplay within a grim, grotesque horror world.
