Our take on RESONARK X
Its defining choice is the split control format: keyboard lanes on desktop, or clapping and six-string manipulation with two hand controllers in VR.
What is RESONARK X?
RESONARK X is a rhythm game with separate desktop and VR play modes.
Desktop play uses seven lanes plus an additional lane, mapped to keyboard keys. In VR, hand controllers are used for clapping actions and interaction with six strings while music plays. The game includes 35 songs, each with beginner, intermediate, and advanced scores. Its music covers electronic, trance, instrumental, techno, and ambient styles, with charts created manually.
Players can record high scores, save performance results as screenshots, share scores through Twitter, and view global Steam rankings. VR mode supports selected Windows VR setups, including HTC VIVE devices except Cosmos, Valve Index, Oculus Rift, and Oculus Quest models connected through Oculus Link. A personal VRM model can also be linked using three-point tracking.
