Our take on Blood Vial
The bounce point is the leaking vial: survival depends on reaching spilled enemy blood while moving through an environment that also demands wall climbs, grate passages, and gap crossings. Players who want combat without this resource loop may hit a wall immediately.
What is Blood Vial?
Blood Vial is a retro-inspired first-person shooter built around a health vial that gradually loses its contents.
Blood spilled by defeated enemies refills the vial and supports movement abilities, including climbing walls, passing through grates, and clearing gaps. The game sends players through changing labyrinths formed from crypts, catacombs, and cathedrals. Its stated objective is to reach and destroy the sacred energy source controlled by the Holy Ones. Combat includes a shotgun and revolver, with further weapons available to unlock. Between stages, players can enter sacred pacts that grant additional power. The game combines gunfights, blood management, environmental movement, weapon progression, and shifting level layouts.
