Our take on Bladesong
The store copy gives substantial space to the ruined-world story and its factions, but the described play centers on making swords, handling commissions, and growing a collection of parts. The story is present alongside that crafting loop rather than replacing it.
What is Bladesong?
Play as a swordsmith in Eren Keep, a settlement ruled by the Masked King in a ruined world.
Shape blades freely and assemble swords from modular parts, choosing materials and engravings to meet commissions from warriors, nobles, and mercenaries. Balance each weapon’s ratings and requirements, learn new crafting techniques, collect rare materials, and hire characters with their own stories. Explore locations around the keep and encounter factions, alliances, and a brewing rebellion. Campaign Mode builds a collection of sword parts, while Creative Mode offers unrestricted swordmaking. Creations can be shared with Magic Words and exported as STL files for 3D printing.
