RPGIs Berry Hunt Survivors worth it for you?
We tell you who should skip it, too.
Play it if you…
Good fit- Fans of reverse-bullet-hell games who want short run-based combat
- Players who enjoy choosing abilities during combat and upgrading skills between runs
- Casual action-RPG players interested in a game with 3 levels and 4 bosses
Skip it if you…
Saves you a refund- Players seeking a large campaign may find the 3-level structure limited
- Players wanting a broad cast may find the choice of 2 playable characters restrictive
- Players who dislike repeated combat runs and incremental upgrades may not enjoy its rogue-lite structure
Our take on Berry Hunt Survivors
Its compact structure keeps the focus on repeated combat runs, but the scope is correspondingly narrow: 2 characters, 3 levels, 4 bosses, and 18 enemy types leave less room for campaign variety.
What is Berry Hunt Survivors?
Choose grandma or grandpa and battle 18 enemy varieties while gathering berries for experience, level gains, and ability selections.
Build a loadout from 15 active and passive skills across 3 levels, defeat 4 bosses, and unlock additional characters and stages. Gold earned in each attempt funds lasting skill improvements afterward. Every active skill gains an enhanced effect at level 5. Level-up choices can be reshuffled; the first change costs nothing, while later rerolls require increasing amounts. Rare Mimics may appear without warning and yield large gold drops. Keyboard, mouse, and controller inputs support movement and menu controls.
