Our take on BARDO
Instead of using a conventional action-game arsenal, BARDO makes the bow the defining interaction and gives it the ability to suspend time while drawn. Its supernatural Tibetan setting also replaces a familiar modern or fantasy backdrop.
What is BARDO?
BARDO is a VR-only action game set in the space between death and rebirth.
Players embody a Tibetan archer and confront hordes of reanimated, corrupted Tsen spirits. The world draws on Buddhist monasteries and Himalayan vistas, creating an atmospheric setting filled with mystery. Archery is central to the action, with bow mechanics focused on control and precision. The bow can suspend time while it is drawn, but this ability is limited and must be used carefully during the fast-paced encounters. The game combines supernatural enemies, a Tibetan-inspired setting, and virtual-reality archery in a focused action experience.
