Our take on BABULYA
Rather than presenting simulation as routine work or management, BABULYA uses the label for a compact first-person horror investigation. Its structure replaces everyday tasks with mansion exploration and puzzles, while the approximately 30-minute runtime keeps the experience tightly focused.
What is BABULYA?
BABULYA is a short, first-person psychological horror game set in a large countryside mansion.
After the protagonist’s grandmother stops answering calls, they visit her inherited estate to investigate. The house appears empty, but BABULYA may have become a bloodthirsty monster. Players explore rooms and basement areas, solve puzzles, and search for clues about where she is hiding. The game uses dark visuals, a VHS aesthetic, a 4:3 format, environmental sounds, and disturbing music to create an atmosphere of fear. It follows a walking-simulator-style structure and begins its horror scenario immediately, without chores or mundane tasks. The approximate playtime is 30 minutes.
