Our take on AV-Racer
Its defining format is a top-down circuit racer that links career unlocks across five car classes and championships with local two-player split-screen races on the unlocked tracks.
What is AV-Racer?
AV-Racer is a 2D top-down arcade racing game with career and local two-player split-screen modes.
Races include up to 10 drivers, with AI opponents that do not use rubber banding, handicaps, or artificial advantages. Players learn each circuit, memorize corners, cut across off-track sections, and slide through turns while competing for first place. The game contains 14 race locations with 24 track setups, five car classes, and five championships: Junior, Senior, Professional, Endurance, and World Championship. Career progress unlocks car classes and tracks for single-player and split-screen races. Optional CRT-inspired effects include curved screen edges, scan lines, color shifting, static, and television effects.
