Our take on AutoLand
The description emphasizes simple one-button controls, but the levels still require timing jumps, collecting keys, and handling obstacles that increase in difficulty. The control scheme is minimal; the challenge is not presented as merely a casual, low-pressure progression.
What is AutoLand?
AutoLand is a one-button platform game in which a small robot moves through 24 levels to reach a teleport.
Jumping, wall jumping, and power-ups for double jumps or shooting are controlled with one button. Levels introduce obstacles including spikes, moving platforms, and locked blocks that require keys. The challenges grow more difficult as play progresses, with timing and persistence central to completing them. Each level completion time can be posted to online leaderboards. The game also includes achievements, cloud saves, and gamepad support. Its presentation uses pixel art and an original electronic soundtrack.
How AutoLand plays
- 01Level time rankings
- Completion times are submitted after each level and can be compared on online leaderboards.
- 02Key-locked blocks
- Some obstacles require collecting keys before the blocks can be opened.
- 03Power-up abilities
- Collected items grant double-jump or bullet-shooting abilities.
- 04Gamepad support
- Controls are available through a gamepad as well as the one-button input.
