The campaign reverses the usual invasion perspective by making an aggressive insectoid species the playable force. Its turn-based tactics also rely on stealth attacks, corpse-based unit creation, and dark workplace comedy rather than a conventional military structure.
What is Attack of the Earthlings?
A solo tactical-stealth game set during an invasion of Planet X13, where the insectoid Swarmers resist Galactoil, an interstellar energy company.
Turn-based battles combine with stealth tactics: players can seize control of unaware workers, place traps, strike from vents or concealed positions, and launch coordinated attacks on groups of foes. Defeated humans provide material for creating additional alien units with distinct functions, while existing Swarmers gain new specialties and abilities through upgrades. The darkly comic campaign includes Galactoil manager Dennis Dickinham, voiced by SungWon Cho, and uses an original score composed by Mikolai Stroinski.
