Our take on Attack Core
Rather than keeping abilities fixed throughout a run, the game makes module changes part of combat itself. Random transformations mean that build management is not only preparation between encounters; controlling combinations and timing becomes a central battle decision.
What is Attack Core?
Attack Core is a fully 3D action-barrage roguelite set in a cybernetic network world threatened by intelligent disguised viruses.
Players take the role of a special-operations commander whose consciousness and attack code enter electronic space to recover core data. The game includes six characters and more than 60 module skills that can be combined freely. During combat, cracking modules causes random changes, so battles involve managing the number, combination, and timing of module use. Combat centers on fighting large numbers of monsters while developing visually impactful module abilities. The story presents data as the key resource in a future where people live within electronic networks and have lost control of their data permissions.
