Our take on Atmocity
The broad management layer trades immediate simplicity for a city-building experience that includes production chains, trade arrangements, and several social policies. The retro mode adds conventional construction, but the main premise remains cities that disregard ordinary physics.
What is Atmocity?
Build cities unconstrained by normal physics, then manage the systems that support their populations.
Facilities produce construction materials, food, and other goods. Trade can use long-term contracts or direct exchanges with a global market. Civic policies include tax rates, unemployment welfare, and retirement systems, with citizen and local business needs shaping decisions. Campaign mode contains 15 levels that introduce the game's systems through set objectives. Free-roaming mode removes those objectives for open-ended construction. The building selection includes residences, commercial properties, production sites, and universities. A retro mode provides an option for constructing more conventional cities on solid ground.
