Our take on Astray
The game places its horror investigation in a 1909 museum devoted to supernatural themes and unusual cultures. Instead of presenting the mystery through a conventional action structure, it centers on exploring the building, interacting with objects, completing puzzles, and tracing a missing curator’s artefact.
What is Astray?
Astray is a first-person horror and puzzle game set in 1909 at Prof.
Walker’s Museum of the Supernatural. The player takes the role of the curator’s nephew, who investigates after an unusually long silence from his uncle. The museum is based on supernatural themes, unusual cultures, and legends, with artefacts and props scattered through the abandoned building. After finding a way inside, the player interacts with objects and completes puzzles while searching for the missing curator. The investigation also concerns a mysterious artefact that has held the professor’s attention. Exploration of the museum leads toward uncovering the mystery beneath the building.
