Play it if you…

Skip it if you…

- Players uninterested in managing food, materials, seasons, and multiple difficulty areas
Our take on Archamon
The broad management scope trades immediate focus for ongoing administration. Food, materials, weather, family progression, trade, construction, and warfare all compete for attention, so the game gives up a narrow combat or building loop in favor of a wider medieval nation-management structure.
What is Archamon?
Archamon is a real-time medieval strategy game about establishing and expanding a nation in a large, randomly generated world.
Players choose a location, construct villages, towns, castles, and fortresses, then manage food supplies and raw materials. More than 30 building types and 30 raw-material types support mining, processing, production, and trade. Seasons, weather, illness, starvation, wild animals, barbarian tribes, and rival nations affect development. The game includes family relationships, aristocratic titles, policies, armies, battles, and catapults. Four modes cover fortress-based barbarian conflict, raids in a tower-defense structure, enemy-free building with optional wildlife or nomads, and a demanding survival setting. Separate difficulty groups cover the economy, warfare, enemies, and trading.
