Our take on AQUARIUM
The presentation foregrounds a summer love story, but the relationship is also tied to recurring nightmares, lost memories, Aqua’s undisclosed secret, and opposition from society. The romantic premise sits alongside personal uncertainty and class conflict.
What is AQUARIUM?
AQUARIUM follows Aqua, a newly hired maid, and her young master, the heir to the Francois family.
The master has the same nightmare every night: he meets a girl, argues with her, and hears her say that she hates him before they part. He cannot remember who she is. During the summer, his elder sister asks him to guide Aqua as practice for managing the family estate. He becomes drawn to the clumsy maid, who carries a secret she cannot discuss. Their relationship faces the divide between their social positions, as well as challenges and opposition from society.
