Its broad multiplayer input support comes with a trade-off: the player limit depends on controller type, with XInput capped at 4 while DirectInput supports up to 8. Keyboard-only play is limited to 2 players.
What is Apolune 2?
Manage an asteroid-mining crew stationed in deep space.
Gather ore and other resources, repair the station, trade with interstellar merchants, and spend earnings on upgrades. Alien and space-pirate encounters add shooting and combat to the resource-management loop. The game supports solo play and simultaneous local co-op, with two players using a keyboard, up to four using XInput controllers, and up to eight using DirectInput controllers or a mixture of inputs. Steam Remote Play can provide online play with friends. High-score name entry lets players record results and challenge others. The game is presented as a stand-alone adventure and supports controller-based play.
