Our take on Aooni2
Rather than presenting horror as a fixed sequence of rooms, the seaside scenario lets players select the order of four stages, with the route affecting difficulty. The returning Speed Mode also turns pacing into a configurable challenge, reaching a 17x multiplier.
What is Aooni2?
Aooni2 is a puzzle-horror action-adventure set in abandoned schools.
In the main scenario, Hiroshi, Takuro, Takeshi, Mika, and their teacher wake inside a makeshift cell after entering a shuttered school and must find a way out while being pursued. Speed Mode returns with selectable multipliers from 2x to 17x. The second scenario, Aooni -Seaside School-, follows Hiroshi after the group becomes separated during a coastal school trip. Its four stages can be completed in any order, with difficulty changing according to the selected route. The game includes new Aooni varieties, including mutated creatures with possible sea-animal forms.
