Our take on Anomalous Deception
The defining structure is a bunker hallway that is regenerated for every playthrough, making the route and event sequence part of the survival challenge rather than a fixed campaign path.
What is Anomalous Deception?
Enter a procedurally rearranged underground corridor in a PSX-inspired horror experience viewed through the protagonist’s eyes.
Its alternate late-1960s setting reflects widespread anxiety over nuclear conflict. The abandoned bunker provides a hazmat suit, gas mask, flashlight, and a sealed backpack, while a radio offers the only contact with the outside world. Each descent changes the hallway layout and can produce different events. Scanning the surroundings exposes points of interest, and scattered collectibles may appear along the way. To stay alive, study the entity within the bunker, including its habits and capabilities, as rising progress increases the challenge. The central mystery concerns the reason the player was sent below ground.
How Anomalous Deception plays

- 04Rising Difficulty

- 05Random Collectibles
