Command South African Defence Force operations during the South African Border War.
The turn-based campaign combines counter-insurgency against SWAPO with conventional pressure from Angola’s FAPLA and conflict involving UNITA. Manage ground troops, special forces, artillery, mechanized units, helicopters, air strikes, engineers, and locally trained SWATF forces. Cooperation from local residents provides intelligence, while political support at home and United Nations involvement affect the war. Missions include tracking insurgents, clearing mines, conducting cross-border raids, repairing vehicles, evacuating wounded personnel, and building roads and bases. Each new game is procedurally generated, and players can control SADF, SWATF, or UNITA forces while rising from lieutenant to general.
