Our take on Ame no Marginal -Rain Marginal-
Its focused premise trades breadth for concentration: the story stays with one inhabitant, one rain-soaked setting, and a short format. That narrow structure leaves little room for expansive world-building, varied gameplay, or a large cast.
What is Ame no Marginal -Rain Marginal-?
This short, serious visual novel follows a protagonist who enters a deserted world of constant rain, worn stone paths, and no other inhabitants.
The setting has exactly one resident: a girl named Rin, who calls herself its sole mistress and tells the protagonist to leave. Hunger, illness, and death are absent, while time appears to have stopped and the rain continues without end. The story centers on Rin’s long isolation and the question of whether the rainfall will ever cease. The game supports English or Japanese, but its language cannot be changed from within the game. The package also includes Narcissu 1st and a very short bonus episode for Narcissu fans.
