What is Alter Army?
Alter Army is a fast-paced action platformer set in a declining civilization.
Players explore broad areas, uncover secrets, meet NPCs with individual backstories, and collect crystals while investigating the world and their place in it. Collecting a crystal triggers a battle: walls close around the player and monsters appear. The game has four themed biomes—Forest, Snow, Mutated Forest, and Hell—with a distinct boss at the end of each. It also includes two mini-bosses, each encountered twice with different attacks, and almost 50 monsters with individual attack patterns. Combat difficulty adjusts dynamically, while drones and health packs offset difficult encounters.
