What is Alpha Lyrae Discovery?
Alpha Lyrae Discovery is an open-world survival and construction game set on a resource-rich planet in the Alpha Lyrae system.
The goal is to explore, collect information, and build a communication array to send findings back to Earth. Players mine different resource sites and use materials for tasks such as pumping water, refining metals, and generating geothermal power. Terrain can be altered so rivers and magma flow through valleys, with effects such as magma cooling into obsidian or melting ice.
Industrial noise attracts increasingly strong underground creatures, making base defenses and hard floors part of expansion. Drones complete construction and other work, and additional drones can be made. The world has no boundaries, and multiple characters can start anew on the same map while transferring resources between them.
